Makeover, Pamper & Photo Shoot Parties

Make your kids party easy. Finding birthday party ideas for girls is always a challenge but Halo Photography’s mini makeover pamper parties in Blyth, Northumberland are an opportunity to give your child and their friends an exciting experience with great photos to remember their day. The pamper party is for groups of 4-8 kids, aged 6 – 15 yrs and last 2-3 hours. We require at least 2 adults to be present at the party at all times.

Pamper Party Itinerary

Firstly, the Halo Photography staff will greet the girls and take individual before photos before our qualified makeup artist, styles their hair and applies a little makeup. The makeover is followed by a mini fashion photo shoot of each child and finally a selection of group poses. We encourage parents to get involved in the pamper parties and they have the option to paint nails or play children’s party games while the children wait their turns. We provide light refreshments and your welcome to bring a birthday cake, sandwiches etc.

Halo Photography charge £20 per child (a £5 deposit per head is paid at booking). The birthday girl / boy receive a complementary 10×8 inch print as a birthday present from Halo Photography and each guest receives a 5×4 inch group image from the party. All of the pamper photos are available to view by appointment and on our secure website where additional prints can be purchased from a discounted price list.

Most frequent questions and answers

It takes a curtain amount of time to style each child’s hair, apply make up and photograph them. With eight children, this makes the party appox 3 hrs long which is the limit for keeping most individuals entertained.

Our makeup Artist, Lisa will apply a little bit of Eye Shadow, Mascara, Blusher & Lip Gloss. We don’t apply full foundation, 3 in 1 powder or highlights. The aim is not to make the girls look 21.

Don’t apply hair products before the party. We don’t have facilities to wash hair so wash and blow dry the night before.

Your nails will be in some of the photos.

We provide juice & crisps but your more than welcome to bring more food & a birthday cake if you wish.

We don’t stop the party for food. The children can have food at any time when they aren’t in the makeup room or photo studio.

It’s £20 per child. We ask for £5 per head deposit when booking your pamper party. You don’t pay for any children that don’t attend over 4 guests but it is a minumim of 4 guests.

Yes. We add all of the photos from the pamper party to our secure online viewing website for you to see the images within an hour of the party.

Our address is 3 Errington Street, Bebside, Blyth, Northumberland, NE24 4HP. We are outside of Blyth, not far from the large Blyth ASDA. From the A189 take the exit to the Jet Petrol Station then after the railway crossing take the 2nd left hand turn. We are the 3rd large white warehouse down that lane. If you pass the recycling centre you have gone too far.

We ask the children to bring something casual, preferably shorts, jeans or leggings and then something dressy at least. If you’d like to theme the groups shots please discuss it with a member of staff at the time of booking.

Our reception, toilet, viewing and makeup room are all accessed via a UPVC Frame that so far we have always been able to get a wheelchair over with assistance. Our Camera room also has a very small step to it.
